For Nepalese who intend to enter Hungary, this section provides all information on the procedure and conditions for issuing visas. You can apply a short stay visa (up to 90 days) or residency visa (long stay). Applicants who have permanent or long-term temporary residence in Nepal or stay in Nepal for lodging an application in absence of any Hungarian visa representation in their country of origin are advised to refer to lodge visa application with the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi, India.

Visa Information

All applicants are advised to take an appointment by sending an email to the embassy prior to applying for their visa. The visa section at the Hungary Embassy has introduced an email-based appointment system for visa applicants to avoid long waiting times. Personal appearance at the Hungary Embassy for submitting an application is mandatory. Minors have to be accompanied by their legal guardians or any authorized person (proof of written authorization attested by Consular Service Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal and a photo ID).

The minimum time of three weeks is required to process a Hungarian visa application.
